When agony rips through my chest
An unseen, gaping wound
My mind says, "Just go on, and do your best."
But my heart says, "Help will be there soon."
When I scream and cry and try to fight
The help that comes my way
I feel sins cold grasp cast me back in doubt,
The stone no longer rolled away.
But when I see His loving hands
reaching down to hug me tight,
And I learn to see this loving grasp as Freedom:
My right in Christ!
I put the stubborn me aside,
And reach out for the light.
The only way I can truly say, "Everything's alright!"

When I scream and cry and try to fight
The help that comes my way
I feel sins cold grasp cast me back in doubt,
